Hiphop Friday: The Presidential Dance Battle

Phil Ford

You’re not reading. I know. The presidential race is almost over and music, musicology, and related matters just isn’t commanding the same intensity as politics, politics, and more politics. Fine.

***UPDATE***

Hiphop for Obama. (Hey, if thereminists have a button, why not hiphop? That’s not right.) Sean, the bass player from Hieruspecs, sends this block-rocking song. I usually ignore it when people send me links to things their band does, but this was awesome.

I assume that all hiphop heads have already heard Nas’s “Black President,” but here it is anyway. Great track.
